Little ones, logging on
Your technology habits are contagious – so it’s never too early to learn healthy and safe ways to model device use.
Support your parent community by organising a group webinar or seminar so they feel empowered to manage their little ones logging on to technology.
We live in a digital world and young children are increasingly being exposed to and using screen-based media from infancy. Â
This raises many questions (and often concerns) about the impacts on brain, language and social skill development of small humans.
In this fear, shame and guilt-free presentation, parents and early childhood educators will learn practical skills to help toddlers and pre-schoolers use digital devices in intentional, healthful and meaningful ways (as a supplement to their learning, not a basis for it).Â
The session is aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for educators.
Let Jocelyn manage the admin of running the session! Minimise staff admin and after hours time – all your organisation needs to do is:
- select a date and time
- promote the zoom registration link (or event details) to the community with the advertising material Jocelyn provides
- introduce me on the night
- pay my invoice!
NB: This is the live and summarised version of Screens In Early Childhood.Â
